    (I think the forum bleeps out one of the more appropriate terms so "Standing" it is!)

    ok, so, do you like floppy, standing, crinkled, etc. ears the best? Why? I of course love floppy ears the best. I think they are cuter although they get ear infections much more easily. But I love Cadie and Riley's floppy ears! : P

     Hmm I don't think that I have a preference. It just depends on the breed. Like I love floppy hound ears but I also love the standing ears that northern breeds have. And of course I love the half standing ears that Neiko and Abbie have. Lily's are somewhere in between

    I have a soft spot for floppies, but what I really love is to see a dog with whatever ears/tail he was born with.

    Either standing or floppy for me.  But, I have a real soft spot for those pre-standing ears.  You know, when the ears have a mind of their own...yet they don't know where or when they want to stand.  LOL Big Smile

    I'm trying to think of what breeds I enjoy, but it really seems like I like all kinds of ears.  Right now, I have one dog with standing ears, and one with tipped ears...but I like breeds with floppy ears too. Smile

    While it can depended on the breed, as a general rule however I like standing ears, the bigger the better... not hard to see what originally drew me to papillons. Stick out tongue

    both! i love GSDs standing ears, and i also like a nice crop on a dobe or dane. But i also love soft beagle ears...and i LOVE coonhound ears!

    Floppy!!

    I've never owned a dog with standing ears.  Even the ones that have "showed up and stayed" have all been floppies.

    I prefer standing ears as well, for some reason I like floppy ears only on hounds.

    I can't really say as I prefer one over the other. I like all sorts of ears, depending on the dog and/or the breed. Floppy ears are lots of fun to play with, though!
