Great pics!  Abbie looks just like my friend's mini aussie rescue, Bunny.  She even has ears that curl up like Abbie's when she's running around.  They look like horns and that fits her personality, we call her El Diablo.

How long have your dogs been training on sheep?

Neiko's been training since this spring - but we took a couple months off due to frisbee stuff. So, all in all maybe 3 months, once a week.

Lily is less. I started to train her in the beginning but she shut down due to the pressure. So, now I'm working on her confidence and put her on sheep about once a month just to keep her interest going.

That was Abbies first time in the ring. She's only 5 months old so I won't start to train her until next year probably.

I am a bit amazed that you can keep them off sheep with a normal collar and rope - can't imagine that here LOL

Actually, the dogs usually aren't on a leash at all. Since this trainer didn't know my dogs though she wanted to be able to get control of them if she had to. Although, Abbie had to be on leash with her being such a young and bold pup. She could have gotten her and the sheep hurt. Next time they won't be on lead.

Great pictures!  The dogs look like they had a fabulous time, especially Abbie!  I have a soft spot for bold and fearless pups. 

Wow, do you have more pictures of Abbie up somewhere? I think she's one of the coolest looking aussies I've seen. Really pretty.

I haven't been around in a while and didn't know you had a new addition. Abbie is gorgeous! As are Lily and Neiko. Looks like they all enjoyed their day!
