HEY, where's Candace? I wonder if she's still pregnant?!

 Maze is a Lab mix and she sucks her knees when she's bored or stressed.  A friend thought that she has dobie in her because of the head shape.. *shrugs* And when she's on her back and has an itch on her chin, she'll open her mouth and scratch so she'll catch her teeth. It's funny but annoying when you're trying to sleep. Lol.

Well tomorrows it! I'm flying out to Calgary for 10 days.. It has been STRESSFUL! First my ride to the airport goes missing and neither my dad or I can't get ahold of her. Second we finally got a hold of her yesterday and she says she got a new job after agreeing to take me to the airport. This wouldn't have annoyed me to much if she said something! Not just hid.. Third! Now Dad has to change my airport and leaving times AND I've got to catch a bus to the airport so he also has to give me bus fare! I'll be glad when I'm on that bus on my way. FORTH!!! My flight doesn't leave til 6:15pm, the bus gets me there at 2pm.. That's about 4 hours to kill!!! But I do have my new cam corder so I'm thinking about doing some people watching. Lol.

Oh man, that would be sweet!  That would mean her baby's birthday would be 8/8/08.... all by the baby's choice! lol

I am having internal debates about watching the Olympics this year.  I want to watch and support the athletes, but...  it's China.  Among other things, learning how China revoked Joey Cheeks visa just a day before he was supposed to go to China to support his fellow Olympic athletes & the presumption is because he's a co-founder of Team Darfur.  Grr.  http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2008/08/romney_serious.html

 Do any of you ever look at your dog and think "HOW can that be comfortable"?  Ben's in his bed in the most awkward position, fast asleep.  Weirdo.  

Yes!  Especially when he's up on the human bed, down in one corner on his back with his head hanging over the side. I really have to resist the urge to move him, but if he were uncomfortable he'd move himself.  Or would he?

Aww - my BFF just got back from her ultrasound, and she's having a girl!  Due the first week of January.  I am so psyched to buy girl things, and I know her husband is going to melt under the gaze of "Daddy's little girl"... but mom is a little concerned that her daughter will be just like mom.... a hellion, rebellious, far-too-intelligent-to-be-well-behaved young woman who was some times out of control with risky, adventurous activities.

She's kinda right - I don't blame my friend for being a bit worried.... even a smidge of those genes will make this baby girl a handful!  :)  BUT, she will be gorgeous and smart and athletic and generous and a great friend.  Yay for new babies!  All that promise in a new little life!  Hope Candace's little baby is on her way so we get to meet her soon!

 well I successfully scared off the cowboys so now have to arrange something for Monday - called the guy that built the porch and said you need to sort this out - he was cool with that - must say he is a stand-up guy but the worst communicator I've worked with in a while

Would never say B doesn't have some dobe in there - might explain his worker's soul - as for the OCD well last week a friend asked if was OCD or something - they were kidding but he has some quirks for sure

I hope Candace is having her baby!

 OK, I switched dogs at lunch and now Neiko is here with me. He is letting off the most disgusting farts I have ever smelled. I hope nobody can smell this and think its me.

Julie Bugsy can produce farts so bad and they linger - the other day DH brought someone home at lunch to show the porch to and they came in - the stench was so bad I told them it was Bugs before we entered, now whether they believed that or not is another thing

 8 o' clock on a Friday and no pub?  I used to wander around a Sainsbury's at lunch

place I am going to tonight has pear cider and a few others on tap - might have a pint in your honour!

You know it is so bizarre how the mind works - when I type to you or Chuffy or some friends in the UK my fingers do UK spelling - it really is no wonder I am the queen of typos

 LOL I need to wake up very early tomorrow, so no pub.  Going for some Sunday afternoon drinking with friends this weekend though. 

And yes, have the pear cider! :D

I noticed this as I was reading your post - LOL.     I do the same thing with my Canadian friends/family.

Morrison has been known to end dinner parties with his...umm...flatulence. 

I'm thinking that the Strongbow I have in my fridge may have to be tapped into tonight.  It's not the same...but on it's way there!

Reminds me of the time I was walking with some lady from the neighborhood who asked if she could join us - sure - then she started on your dog is so well behaved blah blah blah.  Then he proceeded to audibly fart in rhythm with each jaunty step - about 5 total.  I was so ashamed LOL

And yea go for the Strongbow - sort of when you really fancy a Guinness but can only get a bottle - still pretty dern good!
