Meri and Scout video

 Wow, he is really patient with her!  And Meri is adorable as ever. :)

She is so fun to watch. I was sure she was going to bonk Scout on the head with the water bottle, but he didn't look like he'd have cared. He's so calm and sweet with her.

 That is so cute - I watched the other one too with the giant plastic tub.

That is so adorable.  I love the look on his face at the end after Meri nudges his head off and crawls away.  It's like he's saying "hey ... what happened to my pillow?"

That's TOTALLY his expression. He really does tolerate a lot from her and when he doesn't want to deal with her he gives me that exasperated look like "can't you control this thing!" and then goes to his crate! I really don't think it could have worked out better between them.

Emily - I love watching your videos!  By the way, where did you get the farm animal thing on the frig?  That is just too cool!  I would love something like that for Riley to play with while I make dinner!

What a good boy!  And such a beautiful girl!!!  And OMG the onesie with the feeties????  You're making me want grandchildren!!!  I can't watch anymore!!! 

Ha, looks like he is saying kids are exhausting and just conks out while she is fiddling around.  Who needs frisbees or a walk when you have a toddler to wear you out.  

Its a leapfrog toy. I got it through babycenter.com, but its fairly popular, so you coudl probably find it at toys 'r us. I love leapfrog toys. They also have a vehicle one that teaches colors.

so true. He goes and takes naps in his crate when she goes down for her naps. I thought that we'd have great bonding time during Meri's naptime. not so much! lol

I just happened to view this thread, now. I know why Scout has a deep chest. Sure, breed characterstics and all that, but really, it's to house that big, soft heart. I think he's sweet on Meri and is the definition of rock-solid. You are certainly blessed to have them both.

I know Scout's the way he is for his own sake, but I think he needs a treat. I've got some leftover steak (petite sirloin) and some chicken fajitas (let me just pick out the orange and red bell pepper).

That video has made my day. Don't ask me why. Maybe it's just the sense that everything is right with the world in that brief snippet in the day in the life.

I was going to say let me stop before I get maudlin but I think it's too late.

lol Ron! You are cute(in a manly sort of way). Trust me, I had a little moment of "awwww!" when he laid his head in her lap. I knew he liked her, but that moment of surrendering his dogginess made me realize that he is in love with her. Its so cute. He gets lots of biscuit, but I'll let him know his buddy ron is sending him some steak and chicken! ;o)
