I am really happy with my choice to shift into my new place, I have been taking Chip for walks morning & night. He used to be a brat & wander at any chance he got. My new place isn't fully fenced but yet he is good the only time he has gone for a little wander was when I went inside the main house (I live in a self contained unit out the back) & had to shut the door. So I was out of sight & got stuck talking longer than I wanted so it was my fault I know what he is like.
He doesn't like mud so when I go to catch my horse he just waits at the barn hehe oh it's dogs life. All my animals are really happy to be there so far. For once I feel like I have made the right decision for all of us!
