• Preparing for Eduoard - the Tropical Storm - maybe Hurricane - headed straight here.... BTmomma Posted : 8/4/2008 6:45:34 PM Me and Bailey are prepared!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coming straight for us.... Im hoping it stays a tropical storm but they are thinking it may become a category 1.  When Hurricane Humberto hit this time last year, it was a tropical storm but turned into a Category 1 over night and we were without power for days.  STILL - nothing compares to Hurricane Rita in 2005.  Anyways, im a dispatcher for a fuel company and its been CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stations running out of fuel everywhere and the trucks can't get there fast enough... People are freakin out... I hate hurricane season... We are 10 minutes from the gulf of mexico....  So me and Bailey girl are prepared... Already picked up the patio furniture and got battery powered fans and lights.... Wish us luck... Should hit us about 7-9 am tomorrow morning...
