• Something happened To Brownie this morning. Mechanical Angel Posted : 8/4/2008 12:22:49 PM I got up and let him and Cuddles and Possum outside. Then I got their breakfast and let them eat. Brownie finished first so I gave him a chew stick thing. He ate about half of it then started choking!!! I massaged his throat until he stopped choking and then took the other half away. He seemed fine but he was still sorta hiccupping every few seconds. I tried to get him to take a drink but he wouldn't. He kept begging to go outside. I thought maybe he had to vomit so I let him out and he just statred gobbling grass down. Should I have stopped him or did I do the right thing in letting him keep going?? Because I have heard that eating grass makes a dogs stomach feel better. • VanMorrison Posted : 8/4/2008 1:36:02 PM I'm no expert but in my experience dogs eat grass to induce vomit.  It does make them feel better in the end but it's a messy way to go and not comfortable.
