How to install invisible fence wire?

I am not sure it is easy...don't you need to bury the wire? that'd mean a lot of digging/trenching and backfilling. Trenching tool...hoe or shovel...perhaps.

IF you can use it above ground then I'd say just some stakes to affix it to and a means to pound them in to the ground?

If you have a power edger they work great!  They just slice the ground enough for you to install the wire.

I know the digging itself is not going to be easy I just was hoping there was a way to do it that would be easier. I can't use it above ground because my dad cuts a lot of grass an if I put it close to the wall he uses the weed eater. We don't have a power edger could we rent one?

I rented an edger years ago when we used one for Babe. It cuts in deep enough to bury the wire. In places where there was no mowing or any need to hide it we ran it through a small pvc plastic pipe.(along the back edge of the property in a thicket.

Home Depot usually rents tools...and something here called Rental Stop...do you have those there?

We have a Home Depot and Lowes I don't think we have a Rental Stop but I can look. I will ask my dad if we can go today or tomorrow.

 Having manually installed the underground wire on most of an acre RENT A POWER EDGER! phew!
