Photo scavenger hunt-wanna play?

anyone want to play? I'll just host so there's no worries about me already having the items on the list Wink

BE CREATIVE...some of the things sound impossible or difficult...but...ARE they?? These must be photos YOU take yourself...no googling and linking folks, honor system. The quality of the pic need be only good enough that we can tell what it is LOL. Make sure you post updates here, so folks know if you are getting close to getting all the items. Nothing like a little bit of competitive juice eh?

Deadline for this will be MIDNIGHT (my time, central...so 1am est..and 10pm pst) SUNDAY JULY 20TH.

First person (by posting date/time given on the site) to post ALL the items in ONE post wins. If no one gets all then the one with the most correct items...the quickest wins.

What do they win? Why the right to make up the next picture list, of course! Wink

We'll start easy...only 7 items:

Bowl of cereal
Three legged dog
Hippopotamus
Shirt with buttons
Man with red hair
A gnome wearing a RED cap
A cat wearing a COLLAR.

Just wanted to point out that Sunday and July 18th aren't the same thing Wink Sunday is the 20th.

I would love to play but I've yet to figure out how to post pictures on this confounded forum. It's smarter than I am and that scares me.

I was all ready for this, and I went to turn on my camera and the battery is so low it won't stay on! And my damn charger is at work! 45 minutes away!! Maybe I will convince my friend to jump by my work today so I can pick it up

I wanna play! But I need new batteries for my camera. *sigh* Maybe I can borrow some from a roommate.. Hmmmm. And here's hoping my computer is up and running tonight!

Grrr..the gnome one is gonna be the death of me! I do not live in a garden-gnome-type area, and I can't think of any substitutes! Can I add the gnome later if I find it, or whatever I post first is my "submission"?

You have to add it in another thread...and if someone gets them ALL before that last one...then they'd win. I have heard gnomes can be found at Home Depots and Garden Ridge type places...even Walmart garden sections...

Hmm..I think posting here would be best.

Bear in mind if you post 3 tonight, and someone posts AFTER you...but they have 4...they've beaten you...so make sure you have ALL you can find before posting or risk being bumped by someone with one more.

Just take your camera with you to Wal-Mart of Home Depot and take a pic in the garden section. I was at Longs Drugs last night and they had a lot of gnomes.
