Who's on your wish list #2?

    • Gold Top Dog
Cyclefiend200, Oh yes, a boston and fawn are on my list to get.  That particular GD rescue seems to be typical of others where they only adoption regionally.  Notice, they will not adopt to people living in Indiana or Illinois and for the silliest reason as a home check.  A GD rescue in Michigan is the same way, no out of staters.

i think part of the issue with my wife is that we know a lady who has a great dane mix. she doesnt contain him well when they are not home, and he has done silly things like eating part of a couch cushion. of course he was just a puppy then.

i am more interested in adopting an adult. we have been through 2 puppy phases and that is enough for me right now (actually still going through it with sydney)!

edit: of course the ironic thing is my wife says she would like to adopt a rottie. she has prior experience with owning one.

I'm lovin' this guy...St. Bernard Mix, but he's not great with other dogs, so I guess he's not a good match for us

and this guy....I'm not sure if he's purebred golden or a mix, but he's so handsome
[align=center]then there are these two little Pyr puppies:

Same here - in fact I'm only clicking on the links in this thread if the poster has their city listed and only if that city is hundreds and hundreds of miles away from me !  I just can't look .... someday I'm hoping to add a second dog to the family, but right now I think if I did that I'd have two dogs and no husband  (hmmmmm, maybe not a bad trade off - have to think about that one more LOL)

[linkhttp://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=7879364]This girl[/link] is beautiful, but husband said we can't have a dog that big until we buy our own house...so in two years it'll be a done deal. I'll have my Dane.

And this [linkhttp://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=8479541]little cutie[/link]. I love the little black spots on her legs.

I love this little boys name..[linkhttp://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=8550056]Pungo[/link]! Ahh he's too cute.

And last but not least. [linkhttp://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=6021039]Nick[/link]. I've been looking at him for months. I just keep hoping they've forgotten to take his page down and he's been adopted by now. He's been up for atleast 3-4 months now. [:(]

that's Ella only a few years ago!

And she loves you all, too.
Or, I mean she would if you all came to my house.
She'd bark and then run to get her cuz ball to play!
    • Gold Top Dog
    Thats funny.
As soon as you show Tyson any attention, he will soak it up for about a minute, then run and get a toy.
I swear, toys are his purpose in life.

Ahaha, must be a pit bull thing. My sister's dog is like that too. The second you pet him, he's glancing around seeing if he can spot a toy. If he sees one, he pounces off to get it, if not, he hangs around for another second getting pet, and then he pounces off to find one. If you say "toy" or "ball", he's totally obsessed and won't quit until he's found one and played for 20 minutes.

Sometimes I wish Cherokee liked toys more, but she's a relief after a few minutes of Jaz. [:D]

Honestly, I'm glad that Tyson is a "fun" dog (he's all about the fun) but the toy obsession gets to be a little much sometimes. Though, he's good about following the "enough" command.
