Aesop is getting to be a big kid. 39 lbs when he finished his vaccinations (were able to just do the two he needed without an argument, thankfully). He's really well mannered. He has had no accidents in a month, and whines at the door if he has to go. He is very laid back and lounges around most of the time, just like the other dogs
The only difference is that he has one or two puppy zooms each day.
He's learned sit, is pretty consistent with down, and has the groundwork down for stay (he can stay while I am at the end of the leash and return. Haven't worked on anything more advanced than that) He walks nicely on lead..we haven't worked on a formal heel, but he does not pull on the leash.
He and the other dogs do great..he and Legend are like two peas in a pod. They take turns coming into the bathroom with me (you can't shower alone, you know) or will lay outside the door together, waiting for me. He keeps hoping that one day Ginger will decide to play, but he hasn't learned that the elf dog doesn't play. He's stopped trying to do puppy play with her and will instead lay by her nicely, so she's much more tolerant of him being in her space. And Jules likes him as much as he likes any dog
He's good with the cats, and has learned to not stick his nose in the parrot cage (with a scratch on the nose to drive that point home)
He loves everyone, even the Petco lady who makes comments about how he'll be a biter each time she sees him. He greets everyone with a wiggle butt and a tail wag. He's a very good puppy and a lot of fun
