Meri(baby) and Scout(weim) pics(ewin0210)

We just got back from a 2 week vacation on Cape Cod(aka. heaven on earth). Scout is still trying to catch up on sleep. He had so much fun swimming and running around. I wish we lived there as it was so nice to walk out the door and run down to the beach for a quick swim. I took over a thousand photos, but here are my favorites. Your photography skills are so wonderful. These pictures are surely the next best thing to being there. Maybe you should submit some to their tourist board!

My favorites are the ones are his pawprint in the sand, her hand playing with the sand, her little feet and the hydrandea(?).

Oh Scout your such a loyal nanny dog to sweet Lil Meri! I love the pic of him standing next to her at the beach looking at you as she reaches for the sand and water. Thats one for framing!

Oh, those are great Emily! I love the ones of Scout and Meri sitting next to each other at the shores edge, wow what a lovely shot. How on earth did you get Scout to be so calm, I'd be TERRIFIED of Logan being that close to a young child, he's so boisterous, he would never dream of hurting anyone, he just has gawky limbs and springs in his legs!

Loved them all... it does look like an amazing place!

What wonderful pictures! I lovelovelove the shots of Scout & Meri. The first shot looks like he's smelling the air & making sure that there's no bad stuff that might hurt is girl. The second shot looks like he's satisfied that all's good & safe. What a good big brudder he is.

Thanks everyone. I had a great time and I know I will treasure these pictures as Meri gets older. Its part of the reason why I take so many photos. I know I will have them forever to look back on.

Lani, Logan will calm down. I assure you of that! Scout became more self aware as he got older and when he hit age 3 he really matured.Sometimes I miss that silly puppy as he is entirely too serious at times. But he really knew the moment that Meri came home that she was fragile and to be gentle around her. He still has his moments now and then when he forgets where all his legs are and Meri gets stepped on or toppled over. And that usually results in tears, but no boo-boos. So don't worry, Logan will make a fantastic big brother someday!

Jan, I just got a flickr pro acct(which allows you to upload the full sized pictures). You get unlimited space too. I plan on uploading them and storing the ones I really like there. I also save them to my laptop and my desktop. I would cry so hard if I ever lost them!

Great photos! I LOVE Cape Cod. I've been to a few towns, but primarily stayed in Provincetown. Where did you stay? Did you rent a house? I would love to vacation there. I am thinking about taking a May trip for whale watching. So much fun!
