    Spaying, neutering feral cats

Does anyone here have experience with spay, neuter, return of feral cats? I am embarking on a journey into this venture tomorrow with 3 captured cats outside in traps waiting on the morning. I am pretty sure 1 or 2 of the 3 may be put to sleep as look unhealthy. I have given this thought over the past year and am trying to stay committed to this, but have sadness for the possible euthanasia of the cats. Guess just needed to vent, seek reassurance, whatever. Good to just put it out there in case someone else understands.

I myself have never been involved with cat trapping, but I highly commend you for doing it.  It takes a great deal of dedication on all fronts, and I'm sure at times can be very trying work both emotionally and physically.

I have known of some people who are involved with this type of work, and according to them, it seems like a never ending cycle; but it's something that they keep working at in hopes of a happy ending.

I feel that trapping is just one half of the solution.  Education is essential to this program, and without it, it would be just an endless battle of homeless cats.

Sorry to hear that for a couple of the cats, they won't have happy endings, but I wish you all the best.
