Trash into Treasures !!

 This is soooo funny !!  I get postcards from the two super wal-marts closest to me if they don't see me for a day or two!!   IN fact the Hubs works at the Gulf Shore , Super  Wal Mart for a couple of months every year.  The ones near me tend to be packed but they are huge and the aisles are great. I sooo agree about the variety issues on somof their stuff.   The Wal -Mart in Foley  actually has different product than the one 7 minutes down the road on the Island, it cater to a wealthier community and tourists.  We have jokingly called it the Rich People's Dollar Store for a while now.   I LOVE my spouse's associate card... I know how lame is that but come one an extra 10% on almost everything. !!    that's me doing the Happy Happy Joy Joy dance of Discounts !!    I JUST realized you are in Western Pa and We will be in

Conneautville, Pa  for the Ridgeback Rodeo  from Tuesday ( we arrive early to help with rv set up etc) and are throwing the Southern Shrimp Boil For H&G on Thursday after a day of Hunting qualifiers , then 3 more days of Ridgeback Adventures  before heading back home to register the kids for school... the end of September we are back in Pa at Gettysburg for the Ridgeback National Specialty !  This should be a great year for us to play in Pa !

LOL we are closer to Pittsburgh than up towards Erie, so it's not close to where you'll be, but I hope you have a good time at the Rodeo :)

LOL at walmart, any discount is good enough to make me shop there.  the super one is closest to us at about 15 minutes, then there's one about 25 min the other direction (but the smaller one is better IMO), but we have a target really close so we tend to shop there for the most part.  Actually I buy a lot of food in target -- they have wonderful generics, cereal, juice, snacks and cookies, even spaghetti sauce!  And it's terrific quality and as cheap as or cheaper than generics at the grocery store.  I wish they would expand so I never had to go to a real grocery store again.  I tend to buy only produce (which is doG awful expensive but at least it's fresh!) and things like milk and bread in a normal grocery store.  We get a good amount at costco even though there's only two of us and the pup.

 Swanson's chicken broth has the labels on them too. I just saw this post and went to check my cabinets and fridge. I only have 4 labels right now. How long can we turn these in?

There are two Wal-Mart superstores within about 10 miles of me in two different directions.  One is a bit dinky, but the one in West Sacramento can rival any big supermarket.  There are only two things I won't buy there - their own brand of bread (doesn't last long enough) and any brand of milk. It's cheaper to buy milk two gallons at a time, so I need an expiration date about two weeks off when I buy it so it won't go bad before I can use it up. The best I can do at Wal-Mart is one week to 10 days. I really love being able to pop in there and not only get groceries, but pick up a couple of pillows, some bath mats, replace a dead plant, etc. without having to make four or five stops to do all that.

Idealy I want to have as big a donation once a month until the play ground is one of the best in the state!!!  

   And considering I have 2 grandkids who won't even be in school this year ( too young still)  we have all the time we need!!   If everyone could shoot for a first date of popping what every you have in the mail by August 15th  we can start the school year off with an exciting bundle!  then every quarter after that....????       There is no such thing as a tiny donation only donations that were never made. Every single coupon gets the kids that much closer... budget cuts eliminated the drama, chorus, art and music classes they should not eliminate the Great American School tradition of Recess !!
