WII FIT - Who got one?

I finally got my hands on a Wii Fit! haha. We went in Best Buy to look at printers, and of course DH wanted to look at video games, and as we turned a corner I said to him there's no point in looking since they don't have a Wii Fit, and sure enough there was a whole stack of them so I didn't think twice about buying it.

What's your favorite game on there? I love the soccer game and I enjoy doing Yoga, and also DH and I like to run against each other lol.

I don't have one yet, but we're getting one. (We're buying Guitar Hero III for the Wii, then the Wii, then Wii Fit... it's weird). But I played a really fun game where I had to walk on a tight rope, that's the only one I've played though.

The running to me is a wee bit awkward after a while, and I am totally not nearly flexible enough to be able to do all the yoga poses, but I like the balances games (skiing, snowboarding, marbles) best, then aerobics (boxing, hula hoop) and then strength and yoga.  Some of the strength ones are tough for me -- like the one where you have your forearms on the board and kind of twist your leg around, that one HURTS my arms like there is no tomorrow, maybe its just me.

But, I do like Wii Fit a lot :)

I LOVE the step aerobics thing!!  It is so much fun!  Although I;m not verygood at it lol

I also like the hula hoop and the ski jump!

    stupid question maybe....

do you have to have a WII to have the WII FIT?  Or is the WII FIT something seperate?

You have to have the Nintendo Wii to play Wii Fit. Wii Fit is a video game, but it comes with the balance board and its pretty cool.

I do like the step aerobics too!

Got one today! I LOVE it. I like all the balance games and the aerobics.

I've had one for a few months and LOVE it.  The yoga is great, as is the unlockable free step, which is step aerobics you can do while watching something else on TV.

I've been considering getting it, but - do you think it would be good for someone with a bad back? I have to be careful not to aggravate it by doing some back-intensive exercises (dead lifts and situps are 2 examples), but mild ones where the spine stays relatively straight are apparently pretty good for it. Think it'd be worth looking in to?

We just bought a PS3 and Rock Band, so it'll be a while before we drop the $$ on more expensive video games, even if they *are* supposed to be good for us Stick out tongue

I think Wii Fit would be good.  Theoretically anyway.  Alot of it is balance and core strengthening so it should help your back.  And since there is no weight besides your own, you would really have to push yourself to overdo it.

That said, I don't have it yet, but I want it soooooo bad!  We just got our Wii, but as soon as I get a bit of extra money in the bank I'm getting it.
