ouchy!!! yeah, that would be unfortunate about her having a bite record over an accident. maybe you could just make up a story about it being a stray... oh no wait, then you'll have to do the rabies series! well, that's no good.. hmmm....

anyways. had 2 interviews today. one was weird, the other went great, and they said they want me. i'm just not sure that i WANT to work there just yet. the work environment might be pretty depressing for me.

either way. i am exhausted. i havent slept more than 6 hours a night since last week thursday. most days it was more like 3-4 h. i am SO tired, my eyes are closing. but noooo, i have to go to a farewell party of a friend. well, i dont even like her anymore (she recently really overdid it, and her self-centeredness is REALLY getting on my nerves). but she is part of the group, and i dont see the point of making a stink just before she is leaving. the other two know how i feel, but what's the use... so i'm going to a party. i am so gonna fall asleep just at the SIGHT of alcohol tonight... oh well.. i'll pretend i'm drunk or something. lol...

I'm chanting the same thing, Ann.  DH & I leave for vacation Monday.  We are packing up & heading for the beach.  I can't wait!!!  I just have to survive today...

I am so glad it is the weekend.  Hubby has to take my SD to get her braids taken down and put back up today.  Once he offered I pretty much refused to do it.  It will easily be a 9 hour ordeal.  Hopefully it will be faster but we will see.  I did it last year and I don't think I can sit through it this year.  I will probably have to do it next year again though. 

I am so excited, tomorrow if my friend's son's 1st bday party.  I never get to see her so I am looking forward to that as well as other people I will see.  Plus, there will be hot dogs and birthay cake!  That alone I can hardly wait for! 

I really want to go home and nest a little.  It looks like it will be mid August before I really have some alone free time to do that and my boss is already trying to get me to commit to working late some.  I am not committing to that just yet.  I will work my butt off to get us caught up now to avoid it.  I got my crib this week and I am so ready to start clearing out the nursery and get it set up.

I have such a pesky headache.  I hate having a headache all day only to wake up with the same headache.  I raided the medicine cabinet at work and took a sample of "pain away" and a sample of "sinus ache".

My face is a mess today.  I have a giant bug bite on my forehead that looks like a zit and last night I let Kenya jump on me and she scratched my face from the outside corner of my eye down to my jaw so I have a nice red line on my face!  Now all I need is for Coke to give me a shiner... 

Tonight we're going to a baseball game.  I got free tickets at work.  My friend and I are already excited about cotton candy!  The annual free baseball game is the one time each year we eat cotton candy.  Last year, the family behind us left early and a kid left over half his bag of cotton candy on the seat....so I ate it! 

Then we have to get up at 3:30am so we are on or way by 5:00am.  Kenya is doing a temperament test at a police academy and it's 2.5 hours away.  Which reminds me I need to ask my friend to come and let Coke out mid-morning. 

Then Sunday we plan to find a secluded beach and catch up on sleep! 

 Setting up the pool today.  I won't put Kali in it for a few days though.  She has conjunctivitis in one eye so she's in the middle of a course of antibiotics.  It looks cleared up, but she's a fish and she'll be right in there if I let her so better just to keep her out.  Her meds should be done on Sunday anyway. 

I changed my own darn kitchen taps yesterday!  I've been waiting on my dad to come and fix the old ones for me, but its been months!  I've been having to go and turn the hot water on and off from the hot water tank in Kali's room or it just runs constantly from the kitchen.  I finally got sick of it yesterday.  It was so annoying especially since the majority of the time when I do dishes or have a shower or something its when Kali is napping.  NO MORE!  I AM WOMAN!!!

Gonna take Lillie to the vet to get this scratching under control. I cant stand it anymore!!

Then I have to go shopping for birthday party stuff. Samantha wants a mermaid birthday which I have no idea why because she has never even watched the movie or cartoon as far as I know. But I got her mermaid cake ordered and now just to get all the other crap. She will be 3 and I just cant figure out where the time went. I want another BABY!!! Anyone want to give me their's? I will give it back when it starts walking. I promise!! 

My squishy carpet saga continues. The plumber says that the wax ring is leaking so he can replace it, but he can't grout the toilet in (toilets are grouted in? huh?) until a contractor comes and changes the drywall, because the drywall is soaked. With toilet water. I wonder if the landlord will change the carpets, since they are soaked with TOILET WATER. This is gross. Gross gross gross.

Bugsy's mom are you going to the doctor for your finger today? I want to know what's wrong with it! I've been super-curious. I'm dog-sitting for a dog right now who looks like a mini-Bugsy. She's a cutie.

LOL, I had a dream about Bugsy the other night.  I dreamt that I met him, except he was small, around 25 lbs.  And in my dream I kept thinking, "I always imagined Bugsy as being bigger" and "Gee those pictures online are deceptive about his size" 

LOL  I guess I was reading too much iDog before bed...

I also love being on HOLD with my college's academic advising department. And I really gotta pee! As soon as I give in they'll come back.

Pirate is peeved that I moved his crate out of the closet and into the bedroom. Sorry, Charlie, I'm trying to dry it out!

He definitely looks "big" in photos.  Very handsome, but "big" nonetheless.
