   That'll teach her!  Does she have other things to chew when she's in there or did she just decide to take out her frustration on the crate pan?  I know when it was my time, I  could've done similar destruction in my distress.  Luckily, I'm spayed now.

hehe!!! she always has her kong in there because she can't (or just hasn't) destroyed that yet... and she has her blanky.... any other toy i have EVER left in there, has been chewed to shreds... and that scares me because i don't want her to swallow anything and choke... so just the kong...

i don't know what the short period fascination was with the crate pan... oh well... wont happen again will it?? hehe..

Sometimes, the plastic trays must die; because its frustrating having to stay locked up with hormones bouncing around. 

That metal pan should make it through the rath of Bailey.  LOL  Good purchase indeed!

Joey isn't much into destroying things (thank doG!) but when he was being crated, he would push that pan out in a fit of frustration and nervousness.  He'd do it time after time after time so I just took the darn thing out permanently.  Gave him a blanket to lay on but it didn't look like he used it.  Guess his silly self wanted to lay on that crate wire, which had carpet under it.

Needless to say, I didn't aclimate him to his crate the proper way and he hated it from day one.  But now that he's past his "you're leaving, oh, okay, I'll pee on the side of the couch to show you just how I feel about that" phase, he's had free roam of the house for over a year.

Sorry but couldnt help but laugh at that. 

BTmomma a lady down the road has an Irish Setter with bad SA. He has tore up 6 trays I believe she said in 1 year. She said she didnt know how many the company would send her, plus she is tired of calling them for another, so he is having to deal with the wire bottom.

I will let her know thought about the great find of yours!! 

 Hey, at least she didn't direct her determination to the carpet!
