Janice I can only imagine how difficult it is Sad

The guys are building our porch and wow are they fast - it is also extremely loud.  I am always so amazed at how unfazed Bugsy is, he was a bit curious when the lumber arrived this morning but otherwise bang away.  he was just drinking some water right next to the window where one of the guys was working

Now what is bothering him so no outside access Indifferent

I think this infection or whatever it is on the end of my finger is going to be septic soon - hopefully not before Friday when I see the doc

EW Karen. Don't you guys have Quick Cares up there? Kinda like an emergency room, but...not?

We were on the boat all day. It was Pirate's first boat ride! I snapped a few pictures - coming soon!

I want to live near the beach again Big Smile

Me too!! But the beach isn't always better during fire season.  I remember one years ago when I was living about a 5  minute walk from the beach.  The sky was so dark you couldn't see the sun for about two weeks and little chunks of burnt wood were actually dropping out of the sky. Sad A couple of years ago when they were so bad that they burned all the way down to San Diego and jumped the border into Mexico, my sister in CV (who is also close to the beach) said she couldn't even go outside her house without tasting ashes. Even with all the crud in the air, I think we usually have it better in the valley than a lot of the coastal regions. Still ... I'm ready to head back there.
