Max (the big black mix in my avi) is currently 115 lbs and no way is he small enough to get in my lap (he tries often) - well last night, or should I say early this morning about 2:30ish, he may have figured a way that works for both of us - I have been ill for the past few days and coming back to bed from a bathroom visit I accidently stepped on his ear, apologies and ear cks later I got in bed - Max steps up on the bed, begins to curl his body (for a sleep position) leans his body into my chest and puts his head, face down, against my slightly raised (sitting position) leg. As I lay there my hand on his side he relaxed into my leg - the almost perfect lap dog curl (albeit he was more "up" the body) - at least the bed had most his weight
