Ron, would you like a recipe?  They're not difficult to make, I have a few in various cookbooks. 

I like pasties too.  My sister lives in Cornwall and they really DO have the best pasties there!

 For those who might not know, pasties are a british dish of beef and assorted things in a kind of bread or flour shell.

Aren't they also those  tassel thingys that strippers wear?

Those are pasties, with a long a, such as in the word "maze".

British pasties are with a short a, the a sound in the word "wasp". Though my friend americanized and called them pasties, with the a sound in the word "fast".
