Mindless Chatter - Tuesday

I had to drive to Travis AFB  today (about 45 mi.) to renew my military dependents ID card and while I was in the waiting room I was watching the news on the big screen TV.  They were talking about pros/cons of drilling for oil off the US coastal regions and all of a sudden I had this wonderful idea.  If they can put solar panels on everything from houses to those little lights I have in my yard, why can't they put solar panels on the roofs of cars? Possible? Why?  Why not?

I just got back a while ago from going to the dentist and the pharmacy. I had perio done on the left upper and lower. And they pulled 3 teeth. Two upper molars and one lower molar that had been crowned but went bad anyway. Fortunately, as the novacaine was starting to wear off, I finally had my Lortab filled. I took half of one in the car. About ten minutes ago, it started kicking in and I just took the other half. These were tough pulls and one of them required sectioning. Plus, I have sutures on the upper to give the gums the chance to heal back right.

I'll have a number of other teeth pulled and what's left will get crowned. I'm not sure what he is going to do about my front upper that went away, whether I get an implant or a bridge. From what I hear, I would rather have an implant.

So, my bill shows two perios and 3 extractions. Insurance paid for half, so I paid $400. OTOH, my insurance card finally worked at the pharmacy and my scrip only cost $2.50.

    Lortab and I are friends.

Lortab doesn't like me - it goes for the total knock out anytime I take it.

The bug bites have stopped swelling, I think because I was smart and took my allergy meds from the spider bite - helped with the itching too.  Still no idea what they were though.
