     Sir Charles Watson the Valiant, aka "Charlie".  He is a nine week old Basset.  My sister in law drove down to Indiana to pick him up yesterday.

    He already hates me and my camera!

    OK, I'm really not a Basset fan (sorry!) but Charlie is so cute!  And his ears are like velvet.  He barely made any sound except a few little squeaks.

    Charlie Brown knows that he's adorable from his tootsies to his velvety ears.  If I had a puppy like that I would probably constantly play with his ears to the point where they would fall off, it's one of my habits and my dog hates it.

    Your DH is very sweet with that puppy.

    cute! Nice dark pigment aside from that nose! The noises come later...BTW. Hope they are prepared LOL.

    I have to admit, I've not been a big basset fan, either... but OMG That face is too cute! The last shot... hahahaha, too cute for words.

    I met a really nice basset at the dog park for the first time a few days ago, he was such a cutie.  I think they are growing on me! :)

    I always liked Basset Hounds. I love the ears. Great coloring too.
