Funny dude, most know he passed away yesterday, and I saw a thread about it, sorta in General... but here's the article for posterity.

I remember him back from the days of Shining Time Station, when he played the tiny conductor hehe.

He was apparently court ordered to do that from a DUI charge lol

Oh wow, I hadn't heard. I saw him live - that was my xmas present to my siblings and mom - tickets to see him. He was ok but I was a little offended by some of his jokes aimed at disabled people.

I saw him in a live performance once when he was in N.J.    Never laughed so hard!
He had a certain humor....and people either loved or hated it!
Some was pretty raw, but most of it was something people could relate to.

He had classics.   Have you seen the Dogs & Cats video clip?

I just heard on the radio this AM that he died.  That was sad.  I can honestly say, I didn't appreciate all of his stuff, but then there were some that I laughed till I cried.

Loved his sense of humor, he will truly be missed by me.  Braindroppings was a very funny read and Pass the Pork Chops is on my current list.  Too bad I won't ever get to see him live.

I'm going to miss him, too.  Crying He was one of those people who thought there was absolutely nothing on the planet to sacred to make a joke about.

One of my favorites was "It's the hippie dippie weatherman with your hippie dippie weather, man."

A true genius. May he find peace.
