What do your dogs drool over...

Big Smile Literally, Teddi drools puddles when someone is eating cheese popcorn (called puff n corn here). My friend and I were sitting on my deck eating it yesterday and I look at Teddi and he's sitting patiently drooling away waiting for a piece to drop.

Anyone else's dogs drool over a type of food?

CHEESE. anything with cheese and Casey goes NUTS! he will come FLYING from across the house if he hears you in the 'cheese drawer' in the fridge.....

Their homemade food!  Indie has long drool ribbons pooling on the floor and Woobie does tons of lip licking and air gulping while I make their dinner.  I think it's the smell of salmon.  ;) Indie's got a big weakness for a bowl of popcorn and Woobie's pretty crazy about ball park franks (training treats).  Too bad they're not so fond of his tummy.  Ick!

    BACON!
Every Sunday morning Jeremy makes a big breakfast...bacon, eggs, toast, pancakes...and Apollo sits a drools puddles over the bacon.

    Personally, I don't blame him.

Oh yeah, BACON here too!! And, even though they really shouldn't have it, CORN ON THE COB w/butter and salt!!! Layla goes bonkers for it!! I leave some on the cob and hold it for them, it's hilarious BUT we never give the cob to them as it can be very dangerous. The next day the evidence of the "festivities" of the night before present themselves in undigested form in their poo.

Chyna loves scrambled eggs.  DH always saves her the last bite, when we have them.

Bevo is crazy about watermelon, cantaloupe, & spinach.

    Brinxx loves turkey bacon.

Shooter is crazy about apple, & popcorn.

Schatzi loves bananas.  I eat a banana every morning & Schatzi sits & watches me, until I give her the last bite.

Bugsy loves food much of which I am sure he would describe as his favorite Wink  Surprisingly for a dog that can sling some saliva with the best bloodhound he doesn't however do much drooling

The one exception is kind of sad - he gets benadryl twice daily and we give it to him in peanut butter.  He sees it as a treat so if you ask him if he wants benadryl or shake the bottle he will come, sit and drool, impatiently waiting for his blob of PB.

He doesn't drool for PB if you are eating it though.

Now if he really wants what you have he will scramble - I mean Scooby scramble - to his bed (we have one in the living room) or to a throw rug and lay down with his one arm curled under him.

    Like this:

He has us so well trained that we will ALWAYS give him something if he does this! In the picture he is there while we eat.

Amanda Bugsy has stopped mid-kong to assume this pose when I eat a banana.  Bananas are way up to food chain apparently Stick out tongue

RMBs are the only thing i've ever seen them literally drool over. But, they are never going to have one again. EVER. I gave them one last week, and when i woke up in the middle of the night there was diarrhea all over my floor. And they had diarrhea for 2 days.

Molly doesn't drool - truly, I've never seen her drool.

She does get excited over cat poop but she doesn't drool

I'm so glad I dont have beggers but with Rory if its milk or ice cream she cant help herself. She LOVES vanilla ice cream and milk, I call her my lil milk hound!

Primo is pretty good and its hard to judge what he favors but I think he is a cheese boy, LOL! He preks up when there is Brie around!
