Shooter's New Buddy (Bevolasvegas)

Bach is adorable and looks like a great playmate for Shooter.

Shooter this is Kujo here. Mom writing for me since I'm too little to reach the computer. I have one of those play things too!! Her name is Sassy. One word of advice. Watch out for those claws!! They are super sharp!! But they sure are fun and easier to play with than the big dogs. Have fun with Bach. 

So cute!!  Shooter looks a lot like a pie version of my Zoe, and I have a cat that looks a lot like Bach.  They definitely don't get along nearly as well as these two though!

"Shooter you are such a lucky doggie, I mean Bach is actually playing with you!! I wish my Luke do the same with me (Eyes melting) Can I come over to play with you guys???"

Kujo, Shooter has found out about those sharp nails.  Now he's much smarter about trying to avoid them.

Thor, you are more than welcome at our house any day! There is always somebody here who is ready to play.

Karen, my dogs are totally different with cats that are in the yard.  If we aren't there to intervene, a cat who is just passing through will not make it out alive.  When we found Bach, four of the five dogs were on the run after him.  I thought that they were chasing leaves again, but DH saw the kitten & called them back.  As soon as Bach made it into the house, the dogs adopted him as one of their own.  He is the only cat here, so I'm in hopes that he will learn dog behavior, instead of cat behavior.  So far, we have taught him to walk on a leash, & we're in the process of clickering a sit.  Time will tell if we are sucessful.

hahahaha that sounds awesome!! makes me think of the last episode of dog whisperer that i just watched (problem= dog chasing cat) where the cause of the problem was the cat! it was funny to see him sitting on the couch making his little pssst noise when the cat was showing dominance lol

i think it's great what you're doing. keep it up and let us know how it goes!!! i know there are books out there on cat clickering that i've come across looking for dog ones...

Casey is very much the same as your guys - cats inside are friends. Cats outside are NOT friends. I let one of my cats out in the backyard with Casey for some grassy snacks - and Casey got this really wierd look on his face... I've never done it since. He shows a lot of 'terrier' interest in stray cats too when we go on walks, but will happily snuggle with his kittens inside.... *strange pup*...

That is so cute!  My cousin's weenie thinks the kitties are his playmates a lot and they really play with him and everytime Izzy visits, she comes home thiking our kitties might want to play too....they never do though.
