Along the same lines, how about a clicker, and a brief little intro to clicker training. I gave someone I know who just got a puppy (a beagle too actually) a clicker, and taught her how to use it. She thought it was great, and was totally impressed that within a few minutes, the dog learned sit. • mrv Posted : 4/22/2006 8:08:46 AM Copies of an emergency treatment form incase there is ever an auto accident or someone else is keeping the puppy/dog for some reason.  Copies of a document outlining the dog's care and ownership incase of the original owner's death or disability.  I also had some addressed post cards with stamps that were printed with updates for the breeder.  Easy to just drop in the mail.  I also had a couple of index cards printed with some first aide (household medication dosages) and fun poems.  All in MS Word format if you would like them.  A kennel noose just in case they need a leash (I suggest they keep it in the glove box of the car). 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
