This varies a bit by season and whether work is in SF or Sacramento or elsewhere.
We have to get up very early here. DH gets up about 3:00 AM and Tasha & Wolfgang join him to go feed the feral kitties. Floyd prefers to stay in bed with his mama.
Then comes sandwich making time. The dogs all lie on the the kitchen floor and wait for pieces of chicken to be tossed to them.
Then comes rides. Tasha & Wolfgang get rides as the cars come out for the day. Once again, Floyd prefers to stay behind and usually he gets a raw turkey neck.
By 4:00 AM we have the doggie breakfast and DH leaves for work. It's time for a canine nap.
At the first sign of daylight, which is now 5:15 AM, they tell me it's time to go to the school. Floyd chases balls at the school, Tasha and Wolfie gladiate a little, Tasha sniffs, Wolfie eats a little grass and a good time is had by all.
After that, Tasha feels that she needs a solo walk. The boys are OK with that.
By 7:00 AM, we've put in a pretty full doggie day and they hang out until the school gets out at 2:20. Sometimes they get a bone. At 3:00 the shop employees get off work and Wolfgang is very concerned about this. He usually steals a shirt, slippers or something to present in hopes of affection. He also has a favorite person and funny thing is the man's daughter attends the school and Wolfie adores her too.
After that we sometimes BBQ for their dinner. Dinner is about 4:30. When DH comes home it is silly play time, with sticks and chasing each other. Right now we are taking an evening stroll around 7:00 PM which is only 15-20 minutes long, but in another month it will probably be too hot for that too.
I try to take them somewhere individually at least once a week and on weekends we all go for an off leash hike.
