 It is kind of sad that in this case the pittie's gameness worked against him.  I hope dog fighters never figure that one out - pitting RR's against bullies, ugh.

Healing thoughts and prayers for Kota and you at this time.  I recommend a fifteen minute (minimum) hot bath with a nice Dr. Bronner's Vanilla soap face pack (instructions on the bottle) - add some candlelight and some good deep breathing.  Then you'll have a bit more to offer your family and Kota especially.

I like to sit down and groom a couple pups too but I guess RRs don't need much in the way of brushing, LOL! 

 Oh man, just saw this thread.  This is terrible!  I just don't know what to say and I hope that everyone is still recuperating fine.  My Kota sends butt sniffs to his larger name-sake!  He also says that being only 20 pounds, he has to put on a big show but is glad to know that at least the RR-Kota can really kick some butt with a bigger dog if needed.  Hopefully he'll never need to again!

Actually i've heard another RR owner tell me that bully owners have asked to breed his RR with a bully. Supposedly it makes crazy fighting dog.

Sadly for years we were approached by these redneck jackanapes that offered me $2500.00 for every black mouth cur or Pit my dog could knock up!!! They assured me they only wanted better Hawg Dogs  but sheeeesh. Don't think there were not times when I thought as much as I could use the money ..... But I could NEVER allow my boy's name to be involved in a mess like that !  I am no longer called. My husband "talked" to these folks and they decided we were not the kind of guys they could count on"to keep our mouth shut and jes make some money....."
