I don't know and it is driving me NUTS!!!!  I have to hope it was the mole, thhe Brunette put in to spy on Hutch but the Hubs deleted it before I could watch it again and get better clues.. It Had Better not be Morgan he is one of the FInest looking actors on the little screen !!

I haven't a clue. I just got around last night to watching all the finales I taped during the week ... and after it was too late, I figured I should have saved them to watch again just before the new seasons starts. I'm getting rather fond of the ones that don't end in a cliffhanger since I'm not too likely to remember what happened anyway.

I'm hoping the same thing and for the same reason. I didn't really care for the brunette (can't remember her name even), so it wouldn't break my heart if she was gone.

It hadn't dawned on me that both ER and Criminal Minds ended the same way until now, but yeah, that's kind of strange. I was most worried that Abbey was hurt in the explosion but haven't a clue who ended up getting in the back of the ambulance.

I watched the ending in slow motion and repeatedly and I think it's Emily Prentiss's car. (Both were in front of one-way street signs, in the same direction). But... I won't guarantee that's who it is.

(But I know it's not JJ or ... Thomas Gibson, and probably not Garcia or Rossi. I think MGG and Morgan were the only other really probable people, but I'd put money on the fact that it was not Morgan. If that makes anyone feel better.)

I will pitch a fit if it was Reid.  He's my favourite.

I think it was Hotch...clearing the way for Morgan to take his place, there was a lot of discussion about Morgan moving up in the world.  It can't be JJ, Prentiss is too low on the food chain, and they already got rid of the token brunette once when Elle got shot and then left...what would they gain by killing Prentiss off?   Morgan is too....necessary....Garcia is irreplaceable.

As for ER, I am pretty sure that it was Pratt in the ambulance....he was about to take over as ER chief, kill him off and they can get Luka back, which means he and Abby stay.  All killing Sam off would mean is that Gates would be sad for a while. 

Hotch was just coming into some answers about himself and his child. I think if it had been him they would have brought the x wife back in to build drama rather than character developement.  JJ is Preggers so it would be more likely to be Will, since she struggled so with the concept of trust and putting him first , he was quitting his job for her so there is enorumous play in the loss and consquences of this turning her into yet another profiler who must learn to put family in a different place or fail. Can't be Garcia because I will not allow it !!   hee hee she is a big favorite for me.   Losing Morgan would be beyond wrong as he is drop dead gorgeous and there have been zero rumors about contract issues etc for him.  Reid has gone through so much with his mom, the shooting and drugs it would be sad to lose him now when his character is finally becoming some one beyond super genius and now a kindred soul who's pain can be felt by everyone. What'shis face that came in for Mandy Pantinkin has only begun to be a sympathetic character.

I am still betting the brunette, none of us ever remember her name, we all know she is a mole there to bring down Hotch and she kept making remarks about "We know who it is" no one else did, plus when the cop who shot Cooper then was shot by her was being discussed she kept saying "why would he do that 2 blks from where we were, why would he stand calm and ready , suicide by cop?"  I think it was because she was the target and Cooper got in the way.  so I will stand by  brunette mole OR Will.

Wow - you make some excellent points, especially about the situation with the guy waiting in the alley. I hadn't thought of the relevance of that, but I'm sure it ties in. I'm hoping it was the brunette, even though I was starting to like her a little more. I'd be sad to see any of the others go and I really want things to go well for JJ and Will.
