    Charlie Photoshoot (mrstjohnson)

Since Riley is such a camera ham I had to wait until she was down for her nap this evening before I could do a photoshoot with Charlie...

He spent the day playing at my mom's so he didn't have his 6 hour nap and was tired...

He did pretty good.  We have always traveled alot going back and forth from WI and MI so he was used to new and different places.  For about the first week or so he didn't want to let the condo out of his sight (i.e. he wouldn't go for walks)...I think he was afraid that it wouldn't be there when we got back.  We are having some separation anxiety when we leave the house and he is crated (only a couple hours a week), so we are thinking we might try to leave him out of the crate and see if that works.  We just haven't gotten enough guts to do it yet.  I am afraid he will eat the new couch.

Overall though he LOVES it!  Our old house had hardwood floors. The only carpeting was an area rug in the family room.  Not even the bedrooms had carpet.  So he is just loving the whole carpet thing.  He hates sitting or laying on the hard floors so his laydown choices were limited at the old place.  The new house has the lush, deep pile carpet throughout everywhere and he will spend hours on end trying to find just the right place to laydown.

I was the same way with Jamison but finally took the plunge and let him have the run of the house all day - but suprisingly he never chews anything when we're not there.  He waits until we get home so he can do it in front of us!!!

Beagles and their "spots" !!  Jamison's spot is on top of the couch that looks out our picture window.  He just loves to lay there and watch the world go by!

Glad to hear that you're all doing well in the new digs!
