    I've decided that Pirate just does NOT chew. Bully sticks were ok at first, but he soon lost interest. I tried the 'flossies', but nope. No interest. At the store today he picked a 'moo tube' but now that we're home it's like he just doesn't get it. He just stares at it and then walks away LOL. I think he is spoiled by RMB so he doesn't want anything else.

    But BLEACK does this moo tube stink!

    Oh count your blessings! I have two major chewers and with my girl its almost as if she NEEDS to chew when she gets stressed out or has a lot of energy. If I'm out of bully sticks she will pace and whine infront of her treat drawer. If she is in dire need of a bully stick she will actually turn down other choices which is pretty odd.

    Be thankful, LOL. Hey maybe he will like a treat puzzle or kong?

    Oh, I'm counting my blessings, LOL! He LIVES for an afternoon Kong but wasn't into the puzzle toys. He sure is one lazy terrier...

    haha! Casey is the same way - he's not a chewer, unless another dog wants it, then he just hoards it =] He doens't even like kongs! He looks at me like I'M stupid for putting all his food in a plastic thing. He does like the rawhides that are basted in chicken though(I get them at Publix I think) just so he chews a little! And he sometimes likes the blimpie bones from petsmart.... but not always. *sigh* silly puppers

    Mine like their weekly marrow bones, but none of them are chewers.

    Tootsie is not a chewer. Period. Except for marrow bones.

    It really is NOT a blessing cause Ya'll we'll be having to brush those teethies more often and doing dentals more when they get older.  What about the soft nylabones?  Does he like them?

     Raw meaty bones usually do a better job cleaning teeth and are much safer/healthier than rawhide nylabones marrow bones or bully sticks though.

    Oh he LOVES Sunday a.k.a meaty bone day. Between that and raw he has fairly decent teefies.

    haha - we'll have to! Casey and P are sooo much alike!! I can only imagine the trouble these two would get into!

    I know - our new place has a HUGE patio and the LIZARDS. Oy the lizards.

    ooooh - Casey is a lizard hunting PRO! Although.... he's never caught one - but he really, really tries! The cats on the other hand..... I'm constantly throwing lizzies back outside from them

     Try a Kong.....they work wonders and keep dogs entertained. My dog loves them and she doesn't get into trouble anymore either. You can get them for really cheap at muttmart.com.

    haha - my dog hates kongs. He wont even look at them twice, really. If there's something yummy leaking out - he'll lick it up, other than that - he thinks that it is quite silly of me to put all his food inside some rubber thing. I use them for my foster pups, but Casey will have nothing to do with them. They really don't encourage 'chewing' like bones do....more mental stimulation and a bordem deterant.
