Emmaus Walk

Never heard of that.  What is it?

Wow, for a second I thought you moved. ~L~  There's a town near me named Emmaus.

It's supposed to be something like the walk to Emmaus some of the disciples took after Jesus had risen and they came to understand something of what it was all about and blah blah. Really, though, I think it can be boiled down to a demonstration of God's unconditional, boundless love.

I thought the same thing, or that there was a walk being held there, and she was wondering if anybody was going to it. I didn't think it was a big town, so I thought it a bit strange that it was being mentioned by someone not from PA.

Corvus,  that sounds really interesting.  How long of a walk does it come out to be?

 It's not actually a physical walk at all. It's sort of like a spiritual walk, I guess. I wouldn't have got involved if it wasn't a prerequisite for writing encouraging letters to prison inmates in spiritual rehab of sorts. It goes for 3 nights and 3 days. The prison sister (brother?) group to Emmaus has the lowest number of reoffenders of any prison rehab group.
