Edit: I am looking for something that stands up or sits on a counter top... something cute...

I used a tackle box for organizing miscellaneous dog stuff.  Perhaps that could work for you?  Or a "junk drawer organizer" like I've seen at Target?

Check Wal-Mart and thrift stores for some pretty, decorative cannister type containers  that would look nice sitting on your counter.  Nobody would have to know they're just for dog treats. Smile

When I've gone on vacations or trips,  I found special cannisters and jars to put dog treats in.  This way I remember my trip and the jars fulfill a purpose while also being decorative.

Not sure where you live but I got some plastic see thru containers at Dollar General  I guess Dollar General or Family Dollar are everywhere.   They cost 1.00 or 2.00  They have a wide mouth, the lid screws on but also have a flip top on it.  They can rest on a tilt so you can have easy access in a cabinet or the can stand straight up.  They are dish washer safe.  I have 2, one for beefy bones and one for special treats.  I keep them on a kitchen cart (The old fashion metal kind like Grandma used to have with 3 shelves.)  All you have to do is say "Wanna treat" and the dogs go right to the cart.  If I have any other special treats, I have a deep basket next to their Treat and I put the packaged special treat in the basket.

By the way I also keep Hubby's cereal in one of these containers, lol, in a different location.

Apollo's treats are pretty big so I just use a glass cookie jar I got from Wal-Mart. I think it was like $10.00

It looks like this w/out the logo:

Sorry I can't post pictures yet ... Just haven't figured it out. BUT I bought the cutest plastic jars from Target, they have a black flip top and while clear there are black paw prints ALL over them. I have 4 largish ones for different types of treats on one tiny one.  I keep the grain free ones in two of them and then the jerky in another, and pupperonis in the last. They are cute enough to stay out , and solid enough that I don't freak if they hit the floor in an emergency stop.  They cost much less than 10.00 and keep the treats really fresh.

when you travel as much as we do in RVs weight is an issue and you want something that compliments your decor . These are really cute and I even have a couple put away for the future should they discontinue them so I can keep the look going.

I have the same kind!  I love it.  I only have one, the largest size.  I keep different treats all mixed together in the one jar because I don't have a lot of counterspace to have them in separate jars.  I actually got mine at Petsmart, so they are available from more than one source. They come in different sizes, so you can get a whole set and put different treats in each one, and they would look really cute lined up on a counter.  They are plastic, so they won't break if they get knocked off the counter, and the flip top is very handy.

Thats a good idea!  I cant tell you how many times I have bought something only to find out I cant get anymore!  We find that keeping jinglebell collars  on our dog helps us keep an ear on his movement outside and in the house.  I would get a few every Christmas til all the sudden one Christmas no more jingle bells.    I did have an IDogger find a sight for me so I can still get them.  I will be buying several you can bet.
