cat is sick after eating Innova

I gave my cat a can of Innova regular adult cat food and after a little while he threw up yellowish bile, I thought that maybe his stomach was upset (he never threw up before) so yesterday night I tried to offer the innova again, well this morning he threw up undigested innova food everywhere and looks sick.  Is it food poisoning or something in the food is not agreeing with him? He used to eat Avoderm select cuts and did really good on it.

Was it from the same can or a different can the second time - the yellowish bile seems like it might indicate stomach trouble.  My cats have done this before, but usually it is just a one off.  I don't have any cans of Innova at the moment, but I think it is chicken based.

It was from the same can, he ate half of 5.5oz. Before that he was eating a lot of different brands of food mainly chiken, turkey, fish and vension and never threw up after even when he didn't like it much. He was poisoned by menu foods a while ago and thats when he was throwing up a lot.  Would they test the food if I send it back to Natura Pet Products?

I hope he's feeling better by now.  But, just curious, has he always eaten foods with veggies?  I know sometimes that can really upset them.

He looks like he's feeling better( going to return Innova for a refund), he ate some Avoderm this morning.  I don't see anything in the ingredient list of Innova that I know would upset his stomach (here is the ingredient list: http://www.innovapet.com/products/default.asp?id=34), he's used to eating grains and vegetables from the junk food I used to feed him before I knew there was better food.  He did get sick from tainted food when Menu foods were being recalled.  It just surprized me how all of a sudden he felt so sick from a suposedly good food like Innova. Hmm, the symptoms were similar to eating tainted food.
