I bet everyone is at their moms! Happy Mother's Day, Mommas! My mom came over for brunch and we made cinnamon twists, turkey bacon, sausage biscuits and gravy, and fruit with fruit dip. I love brunch. I made her a macaroni card and got her some flowers. Every year she asks for 'peace and quiet' and this year, since my youngest brother moved in with BF and I, she didn't ask for it!! She finally got her peace and quiet LOL.

Two of my wisdom teeth are coming in. No wonder babies are so grouchy when they cut teeth. These suckers hurt! Right about NOW is when I'm regretting not having dental insurance.

Is the board always this dead on Sunday? LOL I guess you're right, it must be because of Mothers Day. Cinnamon twists sound delicious! You made a macaroni card? That's great!

Megan -- try plain old vanilla on those gums -- it helps. Either that or buy yourself some OraJel -- it works! Be minimal tho or you'll know why babies cry when you shove a bunch of that in their mouf!!!

I'm happy to say that Bugsy's energy seems better today, it's been about a week and I was starting to worry. He is NEVER lethargic and hasn't ever shown a reluctance to jump so I'll keep my eye on him but the energy is good today.
Actually it is back to TOO good Big Smile

I however haven't felt very well since last night - major pressure changes always equal monster headaches.

DH and I are trying to book a long weekend in the mountains and have found a few places - one cabin looks awesome but only allows 'small' dogs. What is that all about? My dog isn't on furniture or beds, is crate trained and hasn't ever chewed or ruined anything in our home. What is so bad about large dogs? Why do places have the restrictions. Anyway I am going to try and sweet talk her into letting us rent it. Sweet talk is not my specialty Embarrassed

Callie I thought for two secs about emailing you :) I knew you'd know SOMETHING that would make me feel better. I hate Oragel with a passion, something about it's flavor - iiiiick. So vanilla sounds good.

If it makes you feel better, Bugsy's mom, the ad for my townhouse said 'ABSOLUTELY no pets'. LOL.

We're going out to dinner with BF's parents, hooray! I brought his mom her macaroni card and flowers yesterday because I didn't think I'd see her today.

Ugh, I felt so sick today. I woke up early and felt like I had to barf. I got up and peed, went back to sleep until 11:30!! That never happens, even on weekends I can't sleep past 9 or so. That means I slept for 12 hours and still felt very tired and sick.

DH had to work so I went to my grandpa's to see my family, then came home and worked on my carpets. The Dyson vacuum has worked wonders, but there were all these dark watermarks around the mat where we keep the water bucket for the dogs, so I did the SpotBot on manual for a while. It looks so much better now.

Karen, try offering them a deposit, or a larger deposit than what they offer? I've convinced two landlord's to allow multiple pets that way.
