    Clicker Training Lynn

PJ is nine.  His summer project this year will be to go through "Clickerlessons.com" with Lynn.  They will go through one lesson each week until they've finished the basics, then I plan to get a simple tricks book to take them through the rest of the summer.

I'm hoping, if technology cooperates, to document the process in video clips, as they complete each unit.  This one was last week.  I didn't get this week, "Attention" as my card filled up.  Oops.  Film at eleven.  Or, eleven on Monday evening, I should say.

Lynn is six months old.  She appears to be a purebred Mini Cheeseberger.  That's what we call her.  She's got the body shape, coat, markings, head, and personality of a pure Leonberger but she's half the size (that's being generous), has some herding instincts, and has wee purple spots on her tongue.

Hahaha, I like how he points the clicker right at her.

Poor Pirate heard all those clicks and started looking for a treat!

Yes, he had a little trouble understanding that it wasn't a Magic Doggie Remote Device at first.  But, he figured it out pretty much on his own.

PJ has sensory issues (doesn't like to be touched, doesn't like certain textures or sounds) so it's just so wonderful that he's agreed to do this - it was his idea, in fact.  I'm very proud of both of them!
