I TRIED to take a nice picture, but they had other ideas...

Last night I wanted a nice pic of Kenya and Coke. HA! One will hold a sit-stay, but then the other looks away, rolls over, or starts eating grass...

I actually laughed out loud at the one of Coke looking at the sky. Too funny!!

Great pictures though!! Once they got their goofies out, you got some great shots!!

These are beautiful! And I know just how hard it is when one is like a statue and the other likes to mess around! LOL I have lots of those! Both of your babies are gorgeous, as usual. Love how Kenya guards the yard...

Julie, you have them pegged spot on. Coke doesn't ever walk, he BOUNDS. Four on the floor? Never. And Kenya gives me so many perturbed smirks, her face is going to get stuck in that expression.

Something about this shot and sweet face makes this my favorite. He just looks so happy and content. Great lighting for his coat also!

Ha ha this pics made me laugh. It looks like she is saying " Didnt I ask you to put that thing away"?

You've got some great pix, even if Coke doesn't have the patience for posing!

I hear our frustration though - I was trying to take some nice pix of our dogs and Will this weekend and now I know why thay say "never work with kids or animals". Kids AND animals is definitely the worst combination! SOMEONE will do the opposite of what you want and it will NEVER pan out like you envisioned...

Oh wow, I can't ever get over the quality of your photos. Coke is too funny!

Does Coke mind the camera at all? Or is he just being a goof? Some dogs aren't fond of cameras, and will show calming signals when the camera is out. The only reason I ask is that the looking away, grass eating, and rolling could be calming signals, or just signs of a goofy dog. *G* I've known a dog that didn't really like cameras, and would do some of those same things. Then I have dogs like Shimmer who are just generally a doofus.

He's a goof. Also, he doesn't usually get back in that part of the yard, so he was excited about eating and rolling in the long grass and not being on a short leash (I wasn't holding onto his leash). He never sits still for anything.
