This pretty spider (pics enclosed)

She's been dutifully tending her egg sac this Spring. I think she is quite lovely, as spiders go. And I love that my camera let me some nice shots of her!

LOL, I don't love them but I don't mind them either. I had a dog sitting client last year that was away for almost a month and she had this huge black spider with a whole intricate web in the corner of her outside doorway. The doorway she wanted me to use! She left me a note, "don't kill my spider".

Gina, I'm not sure I'd want the egg sac around. . .

She is outside...I don't mind her. She had some lovely mosquitos in her web off to the side. I hope her children are just as hungry for bloodsucker Smile

Her abdomen markings remind me that I want some nice new granite counters soon!

but...that being said - she does have some nice markings on her back

She does have pretty markings. With that being said, she would have likely met my shoe, or a can of bug spray a long time ago.

Eek!! Thanks for the certain nightmares I'll be having now! Stick out tongue What a scary looking spider!! I am not a spider person at all, but she does have some unusual markings.
