Two Legged Dog

This was in our paper a couple of weeks ago--when my puter was friend. Anway, I tucked it away ad jut found it tonight while cleaning out a draw.

the dog is a 5 year old chow mix, born with "shriveled left leg that flopped behind her and had to be removed, and a legless partial paw with 2 nails." She is sued as a therapy dog. Describes her as having tight haunches and 6 pack abs. I sure hope the pictures works.

This is teh othe4r picture that was in the paper that day. I love this picture and I think the dog and owner truly love each other. I am happy this little girl was given a chance!

I've actually seen a video of Faith -- awesome dog, and they *taught* her to walk upright. I'll say it *again* -- dogs are so much more marvelously adaptive than we are. We just need to try as hard as they do!

What a sweet girl, that Faith. Great name too considering! It is truly amazing how adaptable dogs can be; and what a lesson to us humans if we listen and look close enough. Thanks for sharing, you made my day.

I watched a show on her. She truley is an amazing little thing. If I remember correctly, they put her down in the snow to teach her to walk. They still have to carry her up and down stairs and such, but she's pretty self sufficient, considering.
