Mindless Chatter - Sunday

I need a nap badly.  I got home last night about 12:30 or so and showed my parents this big lump behind my ear, it hurts so badly.  they decide i should go to hospital to have it looked at, they always assume the worst lol.  so i went and was there until 2:30 (luckily it is a hospital in a small town not too far from my town and there is never any wait :)) 

The doctor looked at it and told me it was a very badly swollen lymphnode and that is an indication that in the next 3 days i will get feverish and very sick, he wrote me a prescription for the sickness i will get bleeeeh.  This thing hurts though.  it is about an inch and a half wide. 

today i need to go into town to get food and such for next weeks' lunches, though i think i might like to have my meat pies mmm

My sister might come over, and bring Captain Jack. We're going to try to have a packing party, but I can only imagine how much we'll get done. I need more boxes. I only have 2. Stupid packing.

Pirate does NOT want to eat breakfast, but his tummy is gurgling. He's not getting anything special, that's for sure. I'm going to give him his breakfast around 11 or so and see if he wants it.

Has anyone seen my boyfriend? LOL. I haven't talked to him since 9ish last night, which is strange. Usually he NEEDS SOMETHING by now.

 Yay! A Sunday off!  I haven't had one in a while.  This morning has started off well...took Honor for a walk around the lake, practiced a few rally exercises, gave the bunnies a phonebook to destroy, and am now contemplating breakfast.  I haven't been able to figure out what I want to eat, and now I'm super-hungry.

But the best, most special-ist news of the day is....I'm a HOMEOWNER!!!!!!   DH and I got the house that we wanted!  We're SO excited, I can't even express how much!  We close on May 23rd, and will move in during the first week of June.  It's a perfect home for us, and we're so happy.  Tomorrow DH and I are going to be at the home for awhile, so I'm going to take pictures and make an official thread about our new house.

I finished my dishes!  yay, this may not seem like much to the average person, but I have no running water in my kitchen right now, so i had to haul the water from the bathroom to fill the sink, and rinse the dishes.  Ugh...I am honestly never going to be so cavalier about water consumption again, after this winter.  

sl2...I thought we was goin beachin today?  Been waiting with flip flops on for an hour!  LOL

Hey can I go beaching too?!  Please Please Please!!!!  Actually if I ever get to go to Florida I would never be seen in KY again. I think that's why JJ says it'll be a long time before we get to go to Florida for vacation.

Yesterday I took the dogs for 2 4 mile walks. I am sore now. My hip hurts for some odd reason. I'm 22 years old and my hip hurts?!! I just think it needs popping but I cant get it to pop. I was going to make Tico a outdoor cage but I didnt get the right amount of boards I needed so gotta work on that today.

I dont know if Lillie likes to baby kittens or wants to eat them. She has forgotten Tico and is very interested in the babies. I fixed her trolley so now she has 120 ft to run around the yard without me up her butt. I will be so glad when we fence in the yard.

I went climbing yesterday.  I had a great time.  Unfortunately, I am miserable today.  My body aches, & I have no desire to do anything but lay on the couch.  I really needed to get some things accomplished today, but it isn't looking very promising.

 What a nice day this has been. I haven't been productive at all but that's ok. I laid around all morning, then took the aussies to the dog park. I left Dakota with a gooey wet food stuffed kong and she was content. I figure she could use the break anyway.

Lily was awesome at the dog park today. She didn't jump on any kids and only barked at one. She listened every time I called her off, although she did go running back but that's ok. We're going in the right direction. She only jumped on one adult too. yay. Now I just need to work on her protective nature around me. She gets ticked when other dogs come up to me for attention. I got pretty stern with her on that and she backed off a bit. She's a tough dog because one min she's very soft and can't take corrections or high stress and the next min she's super determined and stubborn and needs a firm hand.

Anyway, I'm just going to take it easy the rest of the day. Maybe put some laundry away but that's about it :) 

 We had a pretty good weekend. Boy do I need time and energy to do housework though. Yesterday we had socialization class with Teddi in the AM, and she practiced some agility a little later. Took Belle and Max for a nice walk. Today we had a fun agility match with Belle, stopped at the dock on the way home to let her swim, then I took Teddi and Max for a walk. Teddi is getting very good playing at the park off leash.

I am currently working on laundry. Maybe I can do a little house work (and practice Teddi's agility) tomorrow before we head out to class with Belle.
 

just what exactly does a teensy spider smell like???  I need to know. Bugsy was just asleep and then woke up in a start and started sniffing and hunting on the carpet in front of him.  Initially I thought he'd just completely lost his mind but then I spotted something moving.  Thought it was one of those teeny little ants so common in the south. On closer inspection it was a spider nearly as small as an ant.  Then he ate it. Then he went sniffing like a madman for about 5 minutes.  Then decided to settle at the other end of the room. So the pungent smell of a teensy weensy spider can wake him from a slumber.  Interesting.  Who knew.

Busy weekend with chores, inside and out.  

Worst part was Bugsy mouthed a kid yesterday.  Hasn't mouthed anyone in ages, used to mouth everyone, never closed his mouth on anyone and it is when he is happy excited, there is no intention to bite or to even scare.  It is like he doesn't know how to say oh this is great I got a friend want to play?  Fortunately it's a dog savvy country boy who looked startled but not scared.  Honestly I don't know the answer.  I am still really disappointed.  I really don't know what drives it.  That's my b*tch for the weekend
