Nasty little creatures! I remember seeing a thread about ticks a few days ago and didn't read it because I thought - my dogs are on frontline plus and I always wear bug spray while hiking, so no worries. Well, today I found a tick crawling on my shirt while I was standing in my back yard (I live in the city!) on my lunch hour and then I found a live one crawling on my puppy after our hike.
Normally we don't see deer ticks in this area but these were both definitely deer ticks.
They are really going to be bad this year. I felt so grossed out and itchy all over after that. bleh.
Why doesn't someone develop a Frontline plus type thing for humans?
