How could these people? How terrible of them...

Sad ...he probably has a high chance of not getting a new home because of his disabilities and the fact that he has bitten.

Old Charlie!

This is Charlie, he is a 7 Y/O mixed breed dog. Charlie is missing a good part of one of his legs and is blind in one eye so he get a little testy around strangers and has bitten on several occasions. Other than that he has been a great pet for the last seven years it's just that we got a new puppy now and do not have time for him. A re-homing fee of $150.00 applys to insure he gets a good home!

maybe someone will read the add and take him out of pity but i doubt it because they are asking 150 for rehoming.... wth is that all about anyway? i'm gonna PAY you to take a dog you dont want off your hands?? so you can potentially buy another puppy??

i'm not directing that comment at a LEGITIMATE RESCUE.... just towards morons like these guys........... poor dog. sad to say his best friend will probably be the vet with a good sharp needle because of their lame add in CL...... and no i dont think the dog DESERVES to be put to sleep. but if he's biting then he probably needs medical treatment due to pain of old age.... just a guess though.

That is terrible - I can't imagine "getting rid of" a pet just because he is old and I got a new puppy...

I couldn't believe they are asking $150 either. That seems pretty high for a re-homing fee. IMO, they're trying to bank a little on him.

I just could never, ever give my old dog away because "we got a puppy". I wonder how he lost an eye and a leg? Poor thing.

Super Angry URGH! I just cannot believe people sometimes.....

I wonder if this is real though, I mean, I know people on our city's craigslist post on there sometimes just to get a rise out of people in the pets section. This makes me wonder. If not, I hope some kind soul comes by and saves him despite the rehoming fee. I would seriously go get him, pay the fee, and bring him here but honestly, 3 dogs and dogsitting would be way too much...but I really really wish I could

Oh I know, I just don't understand how there are people out there that never feel a bond between them and their animal. I never understood how someone can just give up a senior dog they have had their whole life like its no big deal....

UGH! I wrote to them too! Poor Charlie. I am sure he does not deserve the cards he has been delt. I also asked whats going to happen in another 7 years? I highly doubt I'll get an answer! UUUUGGGHHHH! Angry

How on earth could you just get rid on a dog that you have had for 7 years just because you "got a new puppy"?! Puppies are cute for a day, dogs are wise for a life time! Whats going to happen in another 7 years? Are you going to get rid on this dog too because you are going to want "a new puppy?"! And how did Charlie lose a leg? and his eye? I bet I could guess! UGH! It's people like you that make me SICK!

Really...............I am doing the best for him I can!!!...It's not fare to him to stay here with the new puppy we just do not have time for him. And I am asking for a re-homing fee to insure he gets a good home. What more do you want?

Notice they did not answer any one my ?'s!
