Name The Song That Describes Your Life At The Moment...

Thought this might be fun.... Hmm Could be wrong, but lets give it a shot...

I really like the song "You're Gonna Miss This" by Trace Adkins...

Now that I am getting a little older and more mature, this song reminds me alot of me (execpt without the children...... YET)

My theme song is 'Listen to Her Heart' by Tom Petty.

'Whatever Gets You Through Today' by The Radio was a lot like today.

I really like Jason Aldean's 'Laughed Until We Cried' if we're talking country music.

I know Britney did a tv show called Chaotic, did it have a theme song?  That would be my theme song right now.  Life is crazy for me right now and shows no sign of improving until middle of the summer.  Too many obligations, too little hours in the day.  Surfing forums in between paragraphs of papers/presentations/research is the only thing keeping me sane! It's my only vice presently.

"Feet Don't Touch the Ground"  Stoney LaRue

I suppose at the moment I'm between "Everybody Knows" and ... (deciding...) "Two" both by Ryan Adams.

I have several CD mixes entitled "My Life According To: ..." and one entitled "Life Anthems: or Songs Which Should Be Numbered 7" I made Life Anthems two or three years ago, and it still holds true today. Some music is just like that.

Not just now, but for many, many years now, my "theme song", you might say is "You Learn", by Alanis Morissette.

    You live you learn
    You love you learn
    You cry you learn
    You lose you learn
    You bleed you learn
    You scream you learn

    You grieve you learn
    You choke you learn
    You laugh you learn
    You choose you learn
    You pray you learn
    You ask you learn
    You live you learn

Though she's not the typical kind of music I listen to, Fergie's Clumsy fits rather nicely right now. Angel

Well, this is a little deep, but The Light by the Proclaimers.  I've been in some serious socio-political debates with uber-religious family members recently.  It's basically about how someone can be religious and yet mind their own business and not have to shove religion down other people's throats.

    You make it sound easy
You say "you just hold your hand out," don’t you
"You just hold your hand out," don’t you?
    That hope never leaves you
’cos a light shines on that helps you to steer
    Makes everything clear

    (well it might)
Well it might in your world
    (but it doesn’t)
    But it doesn’t in mine
    (I’ve been stumbling)
I’ve been stumbling in the dark for years
And the light just made me blind

You say it lights every pathway
Shows me how to live life
For the rest of my days
For the rest of my days

    (but I can’t)
But I can’t put my faith in
    (your words)
    Your words and demands
    (I believe)
    I believe in God alright
It’s folk like you I just can’t stand

You don’t have to try and scare me
    To reinforce my faith, sir
’cos I know that one day
    I’ll stand before my Maker

    (and it I’m found)
    And if I’m found wanting
    (when my case)
    When my case is heard
    (it’ll be)
    It’ll be by the Author
Not some interpreter of His words

    You make it sound easy
You say "you just hold your hand out," don’t you
"You just hold your hand out," don’t you?
    That hope never leaves you
’cos a light shines on that helps you to steer
    Makes everything clear

    (well it might)
Well it might in your world
    (but it doesn’t)
    But it doesn’t in mine
    (I’ve been stumbling)
I’ve been stumbling in the dark for years
And the light just made me blind
Yeah the light just made me blind
