New Addition-to-Be, Non-dog (Kim_Mac)

I'm getting prepared for a new addition to my new home (yep, new home too!). I'll soon be adding a little female Lovebird to my family, although I don't know exactly what date yet (it's a planned arrival, but my mother is *buying* it for me and is keeping that a secret...even though I can guess based on feathering!). The breeder thinks that she is a Seagreen Creamino in coloring, in that she'll likely have some orange on her forehead after her first moult.

Anyhow, here are some piccies of my Lovie-to-be! I am pondering over a list of names but haven't decided on one quite yet.

I lost my little MoJo, the girl in my signature, about three weeks ago. It was unexpected, totally sudden, and very heartbreaking. It feels very quiet without a little chirper around, and while nothing will ever replace my little MoJo girl, I'm glad to be able to share my life and heart with another Lovebird.

She's pretty. I want a Sun Conure so badly.

Ohhhh! She's precious. Congrats!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking that a fun name for her might be Amarillo. :o)

Oh how lovely she is!!! I'm a fellow bird mom (budgies and cockatiels). I do love that cocky "big bird" attitude of lovebirds!

Ah, I'm sorry to hear about your Mojo. I've lost birds out of the blue too, it does shatter your heart. I believe Mojo will be smiling to see you opening your heart to another lovely funny lovebird sweetie.
