Mindless Chatter - Sunday

Kel, I'm pretty sure that over 40 chizillas in one place calls for pictures!

I broke my nose Thursday evening.  If the swelling has subsided enough, then the doctor will re-set it tomorrow.  DH bumped my nose this morning, so I was awaken to shooting pain & a nose bleed.  We have no plans for the day, so I'm hoping that we can curl up on the couch, & watch a movie. 

 Ouch!  Amanda!  That sucks!

I wonder how much it would cost to hire a maid for a day?  I've seen giftcards for Molly Maid at that kiosk thing at Safeway.  I would love to get someone in to clean like once a week maybe.  

I shut off my furnace too early I think.  Last night the temps dipped and currently my fingers are freezing as I type.  I absolutely refuse to turn it back on though.  I'll just bake something, that should warm the house up.  Its nice and sunny out right now, so I hope that means it will get nice and warm out.  Its going to 8 above today, so that's nice enough to really get this snow melted, providing it stays that way for a few days. 

Here in a few, Shadow and I are going for our walk and a few errands. Around noon or 1:00, I shall light the fire in my grill. I got a new side fire box for a traditional smoke barbecue. I've got a 13 lb brisket that I'm going to rub with Cowboy Rub by Spice Hunter. I will turn 8 lbs of russets into mashed potatos and I will grill some zucchini strips. And, I'm going to make the homemade barbecue sauce.

My bf (?) told me we were over last night.  But he won't tell me a straight yes or no if he meant it.  I can't really post anymore on it, as he sometimes reads the forums.  I just hate being in a limbo like this and really don't know what to do.

I cleaned out my car this morning though, complete with a vaccumming and wiping everything down and washing my winter mats.  Didn't take me too long.

I am going to eat my peanut butter and banana sandwich and watch the reaping by myself.  I hope the day goes quickly.  I'm feeling pretty lousy

Candace, if you feel the urge to bake something & send it down to Texas, I’d be more than happy to accept it!

I broke my nose when I slipped on a shampoo bottle in the shower. I fell forward, & hit my face on the shower bench. This is the third time that I’ve broke it. The first time, it was still aligned. The second, it was a mangled mess that had to be surgically repaired. This time the doctor says that he can just re-set it. For some strange reason, I don’t think that it’s going to be very fun...

Anyone want to go on a lunch date? My own mother ditched me. We're just sitting around watching QVC.

I think we're going to the swap meet later to get some fresh veggies.  BF is finishing the windows, I am working on the yards so that I can get a tan and a clean yard at the same time.

Every Sunday I wake up and end up watching TRUCKS! on Spike TV.  Even though BF is outside doing the windows, I am sitting here learning about hydraulic steering and the largest DOT-approved tires for small trucks.  Just funny to me.

I'm up for a lunch date. Especially if it means I finally get to go to Florida. Plus I like to eat out.  Might take me a while to get there. The only reliable transportation around here is the bicycle. All are cars are still broke. JJ supposed to go get a fuel pump for the explorer but.... let's just say if it was the computer that was broke he'd done had it fixed. His friend was supposed to come fix my car but never showed. But the poor dude has a really busy life and will come as soon as he can.

I've tried to convince JJ we need to ditch the cars and get a horse. I have Samantha helping me on that. I'm hopeful on the horse thing because usually he just says no. But he said we couldnt get one right now. Better than a NO!!!

I need to work on this technology project for my online class, but I'm super under-motivated. Probably because I'm too hungry to think properly. I wonder what I should have for lunch now. Kle, come on over. I won a gift certificate for two lunches at my favorite diner, so I was going to take my mom but she's a party pooper. Who turns down a free lunch?

I'm just sitting around at my moms. I know know KNOW I have a skabillion things to do at my house, but meh. I think I'm just going to sit here and look pathetic and hungry and maybe my mom will make me lunch. Mmmm, maybe grilled cheese?

 With the price of gas methinks a horse isn't a bad idea - at least when you fill it up it's waaay more fun. ;)

Happy nose vibes to those of you who are prone to broken noses - I've thought I've broken mine a few times when a dog slammed me with their head, but luckily none of those times resulted in a break, just a sore nose.

I watched a movie last night (Knight Club) and ended up staying up 'til almost 4am - it was a nice movie for the first half but the last half I spent mostly yelling at the main character to not do what he was doing and the ending wasn't the one I thought they should've done - too depressing. Anyway this resulted in me sleeping in until 12:15, so I'm just really starting my day. 

Off to walk doggies and hopefully find my keys I lost last night...

 Broken noses, ugh. That has to hurt.

Michele, I'm very sorry to hear about the troubles with your bf. Hopefully it'll work itself out.

Today's seems like a good day.  I'm feeling much more like myself, and I'm almost done with the vicodin, yay!  Vicodin always makes me feel fuzzy, and I'm getting a bit tired of that floating-in-limbo feeling.  I'm hoping to try and get a little housework done today.  DH and I have let it go in the last few days, and I want to surprise him with a clean house when he gets home.  That man's been a saint, running around getting me all sorts of stuff the last couple days. 

And Honor's decided to be Pavarotti this morning.  I've been treated to a loooong performance of "Honor's Greatest Howling Hits"...I have no idea why I'm being serenaded, but she apparently feels compelled!
