she's SO incredibly crotchety. It's easy to keep them separate tho so it's not a huge deal...she loves the kids at times and others? They come up to pet her and get a hairy eyeball. Old ladies...whatcha gonna do?

How old is Buckwheat?  Maybe she's got some pain somewhere that's making her a little snarky.  She sure is cute though.  I LOVE her name too. :o)

Buck's going to be 10 this year.

It's possible...but the way Cleo and she carry on I sort of doubt it. She's going to see Ron, my FIL and her vet this summer, and I'll have him look her over then.

Buck's been snarky since she was about 9 months old tho HAHA!

Awwww, Poor Buckwheat.  I was just thinking she may have some arthritis.  Do you have her on any supplements?

Nope I sure don't...I guess I could look into it. She's never shown any lameness aside from when that squirrel tried to take a piece of her front leg. I'll poke around Nutrition or Health and see if any recommendations are there that don't cost the earth.

I'm just thinking that she might be getting achy as she ages.  I know when Lucy got older she developed arthritis in her front paws & hips.  I put her on Bromelain & it made a HUGE difference for her.
