I think I just got the deal of the CENTURY.

I've been in the market for an EasyWalk harness for a while now. Pirate doesn't pull, but he'll suddenly bolt after a squirrel. Usually I can intervene and redirect, but he's bolted a few times when I haven't seen them. A regular harness, with the leash attached to the back, has resulted in him flat on his back when he reaches the end of the leash and springs back. The same with his martingale, but with the added bonus of hurting his neck. I figure, with the EasyWalk buckled in the front, he'll just get spun around when he runs out of leash.

Anywhoo, I was browsing the clearance section at Target, and there it was. A small EasyWalk. The price you ask? $1.36. Yes, ONE dollar and change. I'm thrilled. Even if it doesn't work, it was $1!

I'm so jealous!! I just bought one for $18. It was the best price I could find on the web (Petco had them at $30!!). I thought I got a good deal, but woah, you definitely got a heck of a good deal!! Surprise

Holy Crap you did! Mine was $22 for Teddi's, and at work my boss sells them for $30!! I always feel so great when I find a good deal like that!

Nice pick! Target is clearing out lots of dog stuff but none of ours have the easy walk - I hope it helps - it does make it easy for them to grab the leash if they like to though

Yup, that's about what I paid! $18 plus a very nominal shipping fee. FYI, I just went home for lunch like I do every day to let Harry out, and I tried out the Easy Walk on him for the first time, just a very short walk down my street, and it was our first pull-free walk!! When he did reach the end of the leash, it didn't even have to turn him much at all to get him to stop. He has NEVER voluntarily stopped on a walk, even when I do stand like a tree. Usually I stand like a tree and he just stands there leaning on the leash and trying to keep moving. Then when he does slacken up a bit, it's right back to the end of the leash as soon as we start moving again. I couldn't stop staring at the slack in the leash today, I was so happy!! And, since he likes to sniff on walks, his head was free to do that. Love. This. Harness!!! Now I can't wait to get home and take him on another walk!

Weeeell, we tested it out last night and I don't think it fits him very well. He's kind of odd shaped. The belly strap rubs right in his 'armpit'. I'm going to readjust it and try again.

I'm still psyched on my super shopping skills.
