In looking, I'm thinking that the fourth picture is the baby of a friend whose file is under "review". That little one doesn't look at all like Ana!

She's just beautiful and it's so heartwarming to see her finally home with her family-Yay!!

She's not home yet. Those shots were emailed form Guatamala, and are the orphanage and the hotel, car, whatever. They will not be coming home until Tuesday of next week. They go to the Embassy for her Visa tomorrow and I guess they want to do some sightseeing so that they can share information with Ana about her country of origin later on. They are also going to see her birth mother tomorrow afternoon so that she can tell Ana goodbye. And, the kids want to spend time at the orphanage not only with the little boy that the family sponsors, but all the children who are waiting to go home.

She's absolutely gorgeous! What a beautiful family they make, and the kids look thrilled with their new little sister.

Wow, how fortunate that the entire family could go to Guatamala to see and appreciate where Ana came from and to spend time with the children there. Continued good wishes for the rest of the trip to go smoothly!

Doesn't my niece look absolutely radiant? I'm so happy for the family. Hannah's Hope is apparently an excellent orphanage. It's certainly brighter and cleaner than my mental image of an orphanage. And I think it's wonderful that the kids are part of bringing their sister home, and do get the chance to see her country of birth.

Ditto. When I saw that pic of all of them in that room, I was *very* shocked/impressed. It was really nice.

They keep records of bottles, diapers, spit up, absolutely everything and give those to the adoptive families. Milestones, etc, are all recorded for the new parents.

I guess when you pay that kind of money to adopt an infant, at least a good portion of it goes to the childs well being. The footage I've seen of Russian orphanages is downright depressing!

Gorgeous doesn't even begin to describe Miss Ana. Oh, Glenda, I'm so happy for your neice and her family.
