2008 MS Walk....bet you thought I'd forgotten! glenmar

    OK, now I'm gonna nag.

We're only a month away from the walk folks....and I'm not even at a third of my goal yet, and this years is smaller than last.

For a moment, think about the folks who are afflicted and can't afford the $1200-1500 or MORE per month for meds. [It's true!!]  Think about how much your donation can help in helping the MS Society help to supply those meds to people who so badly need them to continue to FUNCTION.  Think about the van or house access that your donation can help to fund....think about what it would be like to wake up in the morning unable to get out of bed, or see clearly, or hold your child.  This condition primarily strikes young women.....women who likely have small children, careers, lives that they no longer get to lead to the fullest [True too!  I've been lucky so far.].

Five bucks doesn't seem like much.....but that five bucks multiplied by a lot of people adds up very quickly.  Lord knows that I sure know about money being tight....my pennies cry out in pain they get pinched so hard.....but if by giving up one luxury...one latte, packing your lunch instead of buying it just one day, you could help someone to have some kind of quality of life, why wouldn't you?

    Every single penny helps.

    Bumpity bump bump

Thanks for trying so hard to keep this on the front page and in people's minds.  I know if you and others didn't keep bumping I would have forgotten.

You know you want to reach over to your purse or wallet and donate five dollars (or more!).  Do it.  Right now.  Before it slips your mind and you get busy with something else.  Do it.  Go on, you'll feel better, I promise.  And have a good holiday weekend while you're at it.

As long as Glenda may not be on the forum as much right now due to her circumstances I think we should all make sure this post stays on page one. Glenda is doing such a very good thing here even when times are tough for her right now. That is the kind of lady she is.

Just remember every little bit counts up. 5 -10 dollars for a very important cause. Please help Glenda meet her goal.

Thanks for keeping the thread "up front".  I'm getting on as much as I can without invading this gals personal space, but it helps knowing that you guys will keep things going for me.  Hugs.

Just sent in a donation.  I walk in San Antonio every year for my dear friend with MS.  It has turned into a huge dog walk and we all have a great time for a deserving cause.  Good wishes to you and yours.
