Benny doing agility (pics and videos)

So Benny had his 2nd agility class on Wednesday and I took him in to practice on Friday and today. I think he's doing great and the trainer is pretty impressed. I have DH building me weave poles and a jump now...very cheaply actually!

Anyway, the pictures are pretty crappy because my camera was being dysfunctional, but it's the best I could get today!

So far he can do the tunnel, the table, the jumps, and the weave poles with an ex pen as a guide. So that is what I have set up here:

I was looking at the pics and noticed that it looks like the dog was wearing tags on the collar. A dog working in agility should never be wearing a collar with tags. It is dangerous because the tags could get caught on something and really hurt the dog.

Thanks, I had no idea. My trainer has never mentioned this.

Your kidding. That is pretty much a standard safety rule everywhere I have been. Doesn't this person compete in any venues? Of the rules of the organizations I know of none of them allow the wearing of tags when competing.

Benny looks like he's doing really well!

I'm trying to get Co-Co into agility, but the next class doesn't start till I think May. I was going to build some to play in the yard with. How does the weave poles w/ the X-pen guide work? Is it 2 X-pens that sort of makes a tunnel through the poles?
